L'il Guy Has Arrived in Belgium

     It's official!  Our Winnebago View, aka L'il Guy, arrived in Zeebrugge, Belgium yesterday (enterUSSAV1207190 in the booking number at the website below to see the history

     We have given our ToDo list to the landscaper and talked with neighbors who are going to be checking in on the house.  Getting all portable computers updated and loaded with info we need for the road.
     We do have a possible glitch:  I have an ear infection, but hopefully the doctor will clear me for traveling on Monday.  In the meantime, we are assuming everything will go according to plan on Tuesday.  We are flying from Charleston to Philadelphia Thursday afternoon and then on to Brussels overnight.
     We are doing a dry-run of packing today to make sure we do not need to purchase a different or additional suitcase.  We have some heavy items, like the brass adapters for the propane tank, some travel guidebooks, binoculars, camera, etc. that we have to balance among our suitcases to avoid an overweight charge and to make it manageable for us when we take the train from the airport to downtown Brussels.  Did you know that if you check a second bag, it will cost $100?????
     Hopefully, we will get some sleep on our overnight flight to Brussels so that we can spend the day touring the city.  We will be staying at the Marriott (thank you, Marriott points) our first night  http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/brudt-brussels-marriott-hotel/  and heading to Zeebrugge on Thursday to reunite with L'il Guy.
