Jack and Cathy's New RV
In 2007, Jack and I traded in our 30' Winnebago Brave (bottom photo) for a 24' Winnebago View. Although the Brave took us to 49 States (only missing Hawaii) and we had lots of room for living and storage, we really wanted something smaller so we didn't have to tow a car and we wanted a lot better fuel mileage.
The View fit the bill and in 2008, we traveled from South Carolina to the Northwest and back without towing a car - and never missed it! We added a second TV in the bedroom and a rain sensor fan in the bath when we purchased it. Now we are adding swivel adaptors to the cab seats, front and side window curtains made of solar reflective panels for privacy and to reduce summer temperatures when we are camped. We are developing our packing lists as we will start off in just a little more than a week.

Preparing for our 2008 RV Travels to the Canadian Maritime Provinces
I have been researching the Canadian Maritime Provinces for weeks using travel guide books, the trusty internet, AAA and brochures I obtained from Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We have a huge list of things to see and do along with a general schedule that will undoubtedly change due to weather and any other reason, including because we feel like it! We just love the freedom to stay as long as we want or cut short a visit whenever it suits us - this retirement is grand. We have only one item that can't be changed - tickets to the Halifax Royal International Tattoo on July 1st (Canada Day).
